Blade Runner 30 years later…

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Harrison Ford—wearing a gray button-down shirt, dark jeans, and a Ford-tough grimace—is shooting a crucial encounter in Blade Runner 2049. For the first time in more than three decades, Ford is reprising his role as Rick Deckard, the piano-plinking, hard-drinking cop from Ridley Scott’s 1982 Blade Runner.

Meanwhile, there’s a new breed of replicants—the series’ term for androids—being built by a mysterious inventor named Wallace (Jared Leto), who’s aided by a devoted employee, Luv (Sylvia Hoeks). That’s pretty much all the 2049 team will tell me, no matter how politely I ask. “I’m not even sure I’m allowed to say I had a good time making it,” Gosling jokes.

As Ford dashes repeatedly across the set and Gosling continues smashing through the wall, Villeneuve stands outside of the faux condo, his short gray-black hair looking early-morning tousled. When Villeneuve is satisfied with a shot, he tends to repeat his words, patternlike, in a rich Quebecois accent. (“When you hear three deeeplys—‘I deeeply, deeeply, deeeply love it’—you know you’re in the sweet spot,” Gosling says.) After the dog finally gets the timing right, Villeneuve puts his hands in his pockets and nods happily: “Greatgreatgreatgreatgreat.”

Duck Duck Goose –family fun movie for 2018

There’s nothing better than a family trip to the movies… especially when it’s a comedy animation movie from the makers of Shrek! Duck Duck Goose is making a splash Easter 2018.

In Duck Duck Goose, a high-flying bachelor goose named Peng (voiced by Jim Gaffigan) is injured in flight and finds himself saddled with two adorably hilarious and demanding ducklings (voiced by Zendaya and Lance Lim), on a long journey south that will turn this scrappy threesome into a family.

Peng is a freewheeling bachelor goose who’d rather do anything than practice for the upcoming migration. He thinks he’s better than everyone else and spends his time attempting crazy stunts at even crazier speeds. In one such stunt, Peng flies too near the ground, hits a flock of ducklings and separates brother and sister, Chao and Chi, from the rest. In this unlikely meeting, Peng will begin a journey that will break his wing and nearly break his heart as he grows to understand the power of unconditional love in the form of two ducklings, who likewise grow to see him as the best father they could ever have.

Watch out for pop legend Elton John in Kingsman: The Golden Circle!

Kingsman - Elton

Not only do we have Colin Firth’s mysterious return from the dead in this Kingsman 2 movie, there will also be an appearance from flamboyant pop star, Sir Elton John!

The adaptation of Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’s comic book introduced us to the titular group of superspies and Colin Firth’s badass secret agent in Kingsman: The Secret Service, back in 2014. Now it’s back, with a sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, with another wise-cracking, ass-kicking, all-star cast, including Halle Berry, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges.

When the Kingsman headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.

Digital Spy asked Eggsy actor Taron Egerton what Elton John brings to the movie…

“You’ve never seen him like this, he’s hilarious in it,” Taron told us.

“It’s quite significant, as well. It’s not a walk-on. He’s there. He’s in the movie.”

Are you ready for IT? The most terrifying horror movie this year

It (2)

Are you ready to watch IT? It’s pretty scary, even Stephen King wasn’t prepared for how good IT is!  Of course it will be no suprise that a movie about a killer clown is going to be rather dark and scary – when you combine this with the legendary horror writer Stephen King then you know something disturbing and terrifying is going to happen.

In fact British actor 24 year old Will Poulter, currently starring with Star Wars leading man John Boyega in Detroit, a particularly dark and, yes, disturbing look at race relations in inner city America. It sounds like he can handle anything and yet originally cast as Pennywise Poulter pulled out of the movie because it was too much for him.

In the most disturbing scene in the latest trailer for IT, a bathroom erupts in huge spurts of blood, gushing upwards to soak the ceiling and walls, as well as the terrified figure kneeling in terror… That might be just too much for most people!
